We present a new series of 16 brass medals dedicated to the mountain chalets of Slovakia.
The first medal pays tribute to the General M. R. Štefánik Chalet in the Low Tatras – a true symbol of Slovak mountain tourism and a beloved starting point for hikes to Ďumbier and Chopok.
Situated just below the peak of Ďumbier at an altitude of 1,740 meters, the chalet has offered hikers shelter, warmth, and unforgettable views of the Tatra ridges for decades.
The author of the medal is Mgr. art. Martin Sabol.
