Gold coin - Prehistoric Venus – Hohlenstein-Stadel

A new series of gold investment coins dedicated to the motif of prehistoric Venus figurines. These are Lower Paleolithic statuettes depicting the naked female form with accentuated sexual features, while facial and leg details are usually simplified or absent. The figurines were made from materials such as stone, baked clay, bone, antler, or mammoth ivory. As the first issue in this series, we present the Hohlenstein-Stadel Venus.
