We present a series of commemorative medals dedicated to the Štúrovci – the leading figures of the Slovak national movement in the mid-19th century, named after its central representative Ľudovít Štúr.



The first medal in the series is dedicated to Ľudovít Štúr himself, a prominent linguist, politician, and national revivalist who played a key role in creating the modern Slovak literary language. His ideas and work shaped Slovak identity, and his legacy continues to inspire to this day.



The medals also honor other prominent members of the movement – Samo Chalupka, Andrej Sládkovič, Janko Kráľ, Ján Botto, Janko Matúška, Michal Miloslav Hodža, and Jozef Miloslav Hurban.
