In 2021, we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Czechoslovak coins in the Kremnica Mint. The first 20 and 50 halier coins were minted on machines called Vulcano.

In 2021, we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Czechoslovak coins in the Kremnica Mint. The first 20 and 50 halier coins were minted on machines called Vulcano. In addition to the gold, silver patinated and brass medal we also offer you a novelty and that is the surface plating of the silver medal with rhodium. Rhodium is a type of platinum. It is a rare, hard metal. The biggest advantage is the fact that it is resistant to corrosion.

Plague Column in Kremnica – 250th anniversary

This late Baroque monument, built to commemorate the plague epidemic of 1710, is dominant of the central square of Kremnica. The construction of the Plague Column began in 1765 and the construction work was accompanied by many complications. The column was finally completed in 1771 and consecrated the following year, on the feast of the Holy Trinity.

The Plague Column in Kremnica is the first motif in the upcoming series of medals - Plague Columns in Slovakia.
